Brakada consists of two brothers, Mikal and Lahcing. With an impressive flow, and exact lyricism in Hip Hop, Brakada has quickly earned the respect and admiration of many fans as true MC’s. The word Brakada came from the word barkada. Barkada is a word from the Tagalog dialect of the Philippines meaning group of family and or friends. The letter R and first letter A were switched so the first three letters would read as Bra, short for brother.

Thus, Brakada, a Tagalog term that symbolizes a strong bond, like that of one between brothers. We were born in the generation of this music.
